Crisp Computing Limited was formed in 1981 by Ges Whitmore and Christine Symonds, from humble beginnings servicing a fledgling finanancial services IT sector Crisp grew in meteroric fashion to at its height employ some 200+ staff in Halesowen. In its 22 years many IT professionals (and a few non professionals) passed through its doors. The sense of spirit amonst the "Crispies" was always present, and while the work was often hard it was more often fun. The quality of the Crisp products has been demonstrated with its Strangle hold over the POS awards and even in 2002 IPSIS again won.
